Base Technology provides broadband WiMAX and WiFi Wireless Internet Services for the Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival in Whistler.
The basewireless network is designed to support live streaming of broadcast quality video. This summer Base Technology provided dedicated high speed wireless Internet for streaming live video from the Mountain Bike park to the Internet during the Kokanee Crankworx mountain bike festival for the rest of the world to watch.
The video which was produced by BoomBox and Whistler Blackcomb was broadcast live by GoTo11.com over the Base Wireless WiMAX network in Whistler BC Canada. Base Technology also provided VIP, media and event staff with roaming wireless Internet access over the Base Wireless WiFi mesh network with over 100 locations in Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton.
